I still think Arnie Klein got Jackson hooked on drugs

There's no doubt, that he's been a long time enabler.

He deserves to lose his license to practice medicine.

I think it's pretty self evident that 99% of the doctors MJ surrounded himself with were more concerned with his money and social status than his health and well being. Hell scratch that... 99% of the PEOPLE, not just the doctors...

MICHAEL JACKSON wasn't concerned with his health or well being either.

I hope this doctor gets the lightest sentence possible. Michael Jackson could not be stopped nor could he be forced to account for his choices including the procurement of a pharmacy's worth of drugs. It's coming out that he had all these alliases in order to get more and more drugs. He was out of control, obviously.

This doctor is obvioulsy incompetent but I hope this factors into any sentencing he gets. Michael Jackson bought the gun, loaded it, handed it to the doctor and helped him pull the trigger. I hope this is considered in this case. With or without this doctor Michael would have ended up dead from overdose.

ummm i don't think so. Michael was desperate to get help for his insomnia. do u know how it is like to suffer from that? i do agree michael had a problem with addiction but these hollywood doctors need to STOP pimping drugs to these celebrities!!!! You do not give profopol in home setting...you can be charged with manslaugter because of this. Propfopol doesn't even help with sleeping! WAKE UP PEOPLE AND STOP DEFENDING THIS PILL PIMPS!!!! IT'S A TWO WAY STREET!!!!

true it has nothing to do with competence, per se....

but obviously this man not only lacked ethics, but was, indeed, incompetent!

a more competent doctor would have had monitoring and a back up plan.

Wrong. A more competent doctor would have given him a placebo, or nothing at all.
He probably would have slept if he thought he was being given propofol.

Lets us understand THIS.....

Michael's biggest problem was his ego!

Even if some people were available to give the man good advice, Michael would have most likely have those same people fired/laid-off if the advice doesn't lean in favor of Michael's vision of doing things.

good point but let's be real here...men and their egos. enough said lol

And a Doctor doesn't have to listen to the addict. He can tell them bluntly- "I know more than you do and have been practicing medicine for a long time, to know how to treat your condition, and I would rather not give you _____ (fill in the blank with some medication).

Personally, why not get fired instead, rather than get yourself entangled in a web of problems.

nod exactly what I think too. I think its devastating to know that his death could had been avoided, had he selected a more COMPETENT doctor...but thats unfortunate. I do know one thing, that doctor can kiss his practice and career goodbye.

I think you're right. nod Even if Dr. Murray somehow got Mark Gerragos, Barry Scheck, and the rest of O.J. Simpson's legal defense team to defend any potential manslaughter case in court and win his case, his career is down the toilet. toilet Between any subsequent wrongful death and/or medical malpractice lawsuits that follow, he will end up getting his license revoked, and no jurisdiction in the USA or Canada would grant him a license after this.

The only peoplle who had to be held to account by Michael were those who didn't give him his way. this ENTIRE THING begins and ends with Michael Jackson.

Addicts will say anything to get their fix. One day it's insomnia. Tomorrow it would have been something else. You're falling for the act.

i am not falling for anything. personally i believe michael suffered from a lot of physical pain as well as emotional pain in his life such as anxiety, lupus, surguries, insominia etc and over medicated himself.

I agree he suffered from many things emotional and physical. Instead of seeking rehab or standard treatments, Michael was able to fulfill all his wishes no matter how ridiculous or dumb.

I don't know that the family wants a wrongful death lawsuit.

Let's remember that Michael Jackson asked that nurse for this drug. She said no. He moved on to Dr. Murray....FOR A REASON.

I hope people realize that the official coroner report is still sealed and the report that is being shown is a leaked statement which Dr Murray gave to the police about what happened on the night/morning of MJ death.

There are obvious holes in this story, for instance why would MJ still be asking for propolfol at 10:40 in the morning when he was suppose to be up and getting ready for his rehersals? Most people who suffer from insomania give up trying to sleep once it reaches a certain time especially if they have things to do.

My feelings exactly.
