Entertainment Tonight is reporting that the death is being ruled as a homicide. I'm firmly planted in denial

Michael Jackson is DEAD! Nothing...and I do mean NOTHING...is going to change that! It needed to be said...so I said it!
Everything we hear from here on out, will be fuel to sell shit! If you loved Michael, hold on to that because you are going to need it! If you hated Michael, do what you do! When ALL is said and done, none of us will ever know what really happened...so for the sake of our own sanity...just let it go and let him finally...for once and for all...rest in peace! I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I do not really believe the reports that Dr. Murray had aboutthe type of drugs that were supposed to have been administered to Michael, to help him sleep. I mean think about it, if all those drugs were in his system??? Apparently it is reported that he still could not fall asleep even with all the mixtures of drugs in his body... No it does not sound right at all, it sounds very fabricated to me. I think it is media garbage as usual, actually none of the media facts surrounding his death make sense.. I think there are the REAL TRUTHFUL facts out there, but we are not hearing them, that is all I am going to say about that subject.
Do not believe everything you hear and read from the capitol T (Tabloids).

Like Brooklyn said in other thread, thid "doctor" was truly a dumb ass. He should have had trained medical staff, respirator, and other monitoring devices.
I worked in ICU as a nurse... the thing about Propofol is not only can it stopped your breathing... and I mean stop it COLD! ---- it can also drops your blood pressure EXTREMELY low. I am talking about "average" blood pressure is 120/80 and on Propofol some people blood pressure can go down to 60/30s. You have to have CONSTANT monitoring to watch not only breathing but heart rate and blood pressure... you have to have meds on hand to counteract the low blood pressure like Dopamine or Levophed... HEAVY DUTY BLOOD PRESSURE ELEVATORS, and you have to know how to give it immediately because if the blood pressure drops that low quickly you only have a minute or 2 and then the heart goes into dangerous rhythms and then stops. He was not even a Critical Care doctor let along an Anestesiologist. SMH He is the DUMBEST OF THEM ALL... cause you know on the job for onlyu 6 weeks, he did not get paid... and I am sure the estate will not pay him... and he lost his medical license and possibly personal liberty. DUMB ASS!!! for not covering your ass with a team of medical staff. (and for the record, even as a trained medical professional who have administered Propofol, I would NOT give it to anyone under those conditions found outside a hospital). I worked too hard for MY license. Oh and for those who say that all MJ wanted was "a little sleep" Propofol, Ativan and Versed are not for "a little sleep"... they are anesthetics... Propofol paralyzes... all the muscles even the lungs. That is what it is SUPPOSED TO DO! "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

Or the first doctor that gave him this on the history tour? doesn't make any sense. Almost like they were trying to poison him. [Edited 8/25/09 22:48pm]

Do not believe everything you hear and read from the capitol T (Tabloids). Then you have to disbelieve Cherilyn Lee's own reports that MJ "begged" for the drug to go to sleep. That makes her suspect too.

TRU DAT! And since there are people tryna label MJ just some run of the mill dope feind with a lot of cash then yeah...such asses will be saved. Yeah, MJ made those doctors dope him up. All their training, professionalism and level headedness was not match for the almighty dollar.

And there are tons of RN's, and MD's and STILL no Ativan INTRAVENOUSLY. It can affect your airway. Make you so relax that you can swallow your tongue. ATivan INTRAVENOUSLY? Not in your muscle... in your veins... you know "mainline"? I have seen people starting blowing foam out of their mouth from getting Ativan IV. you are so "relaxed" that instead of automatically swallowing the little bit of saliva that your mouth naturally manufacture... it collects in your mouth (if you are lucky that it hasn't gone down your trachea into your lungs) and then eventually you blow it out... tiny air bubbles are formed... and that is the white foam you see coming out of the mouth. Sorry so graphic but Ativan IV is considered "concious sedation". 2 mg is all you need to put you at risk for oral secretions going down the wrong tube. I think MJ had a whole lot more than 2 mg Ativan. If he was my pt... I would have insisted on a breathing tube just to protect his airway. This doctor is giong down and he SHOULD... he should have KNOWN BETTER. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

I don't think he did. I honestly think he asked for the best sleep aid available and that's what the doc gave him. Murray probably made it seem like it was fine as long as used under the care of a doctor. Subsequent doctors probably felt free to prescribe to MJ because he had already taken the meds before and had a primary physician. They are all in cohoots.
