For the life of me I don't know. Many of those disco divas career ended when disco came to a dead end. Everyone sung and praised Cherly Lynn talent, why the career wasn't far more successful than it should have been is a mystery to me.

Everyone loves "Got To Be Real" but I agree that her underestimated tracks are "Shake It Up Tonight" (which I first heard on the Strobe) and "Star Love", but it has to the version with the soft intro that explodes after. The Strobe thankfully stopped playing the lame version that just cuts that!
