What a haunting song. I love it
This is only the second Concrete Blonde song I've heard (besides Bloodletting). Since I enjoy both, maybe I should seek out more of their music? If you will, so will I

They had some great songs like "Someday" and "Joey". The lead singer, Johnette Napolitano has a really cool voice.

I believe that he wrote the song specifically for Concrete Blonde, because their version was released first. "Bloodletting" came out in 1989, and his version (with Johnette) was released in 1990 on the album "Upon My Wicked Son." from the Allmusic review of "Upon My Wicked Son": Andy Prieboy, who replaced Stan Ridgway as vocalist in Wall of Voodoo, scored by writing the track "Tomorrow Wendy," which appeared on Concrete Blonde's surprise 1989 breakthrough album Bloodletting. The following year he released his solo offering Upon My Wicked Son and Johnette Napolitano returns the favor by performing a duet with him on a version of the song http://www.allmusic.com/c...6sx9krj~T0 * * *

I agree w/ Nick715, "Recollection" is a good place to start. The "Bloodletting" and "Mexican Moon" albums are my favorites. Johnette's vocals on "Heal It Up" are freakin' amazing. * * *

All the ones mentioned plus get Walking In London, one of their best from the 90's. Also get Still In Hollywood wit many rarities on it and live cuts. Johnette Napolitano has one of the smokiest/best voices in rock. Concrete Blonde is one of the most underrated (rock?) bands ever.
