Team Maxwell for me. Musiq is good, but Maxwell creates babies!
And I don't hear much Prince in Maxwell, to be honest.

Maxwell has perfect pitch. Musiq is flat on way tooooo many high notes. I actually left a recent show of his due to this.

Maxwell is a poor imitation of Prince! His so-called falsetto is way too airy

Musiq seems to ALWAYS be struggling when he sings in falsetto, like Robin Thicke. Though I find his cover of Reasons quite impressive.

Listen to Phillip Bailey and Bobby Debarge for a pure falsetto

Philip Bailey is hit and miss with me. On record - of course he sounds pure. However, I have seen him in EW&F in recent years - try to do WAAAAAY too much. I've felt embarrassment for him at how bad he can sound - trying to hit high notes.
