My parent's and their friends, were saying that "Marvin was back". It was the first time that I had ever heard a song that went on for that long, that was not a jazz song. Great song, with allot of meaning. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Saturday and Sunday, was when we would clean the house. During that time, my parents would take turns playing everything from Calypso music to Nat King Cole, and everything else in between. I was probably the only 7 year old who knew who, Sonny Stitt was. 95% of the records that are in parents collection are used today in what people call "music". My brothers, both older and younger than I, (my parents had 6 sons, no cable....go figure) taught me to appreciate, The Beatles, Stones, Run DMC, and others. Kids today are really missing out, on good music and it's a damn shame!! [Edited 8/21/09 11:23am] "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

It's up to us (and the parents) to teach them what great music is. I've discovered so many kids on YouTube comment on how great a song from the '50s, '60s, '70s and '80s is. It ain't too late.

If you have the CD, the band does this great version of "Time to Get It Together", this was about two minutes before the announcer came out to introduce Marvin.
