The age old desert island question Alright, so we've all always heard about the desert island album question. (If you could only take one album with you to a desert island, what would it be). How about a desert island artist?
So if you could only take one artist/band's entire collection with you to a desert island, (other than Prince) who would it be? More than likely, longevitiy/diversity is probably going to play a huge factor in the decision. The one bonus is, if that artist is still alive and creating new music, you could still have their new music shipped to the island too. All factors considered my choice would be limited to one of 6 people. Curtis Mayfield, Paul Simon, Smokey Robinson, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder or Elton John. They've all had/have super long careers with a ton of material to choose from. And if I had to choose one, it would probably be Smokey. All his work with the Miracles is just too much Heaven for me to live without. (Stevie would be a close second). Have at it!!!!

This might sound crazy but I think I would say The System!! I really couldn't imagine not ever hearing them again. They are the ultimate duo!

Stevie Wonder.
No doubt. Then Michael/J5/Jacksons, JB, Diana, Marvin, Sly & TFS. probably in that order.
