Tevin's Don't Say Goodbye...

I can listen to this beautiful sugar sweet piece over and over again. I'm Ready is a great composition overall and I love each and every song on the album, but Don't Say Goodbye Girl is the one that keeps popping up in my mind mushy
Tevin's vocals are superb!

I absolutely loved the I'm Ready album but I think the Prince tracks didn't fit in for some reason...

I don't have that problem with Tevin, but I can relate. I can't pick up an Eddie Murphy movie without thinking of him picking up transsexual hookers. sad
Change it one more time..

I can see what you mean. They've got a different vibe and more edge to 'em. I'm still glad they are there music

Me neither. I'm not sure were it all went wrong for Tevin. I'm going to assume that incident with the guy had an impact on him and his career, that's unfortunate.

I usually think about that too which is a shame It should be all about the music considering his vocals just may be better than anyone out there right now.

I remember an interview where Tevin responded to the situation he said that he was not gay.....but he was a freak. and something to the effect of you'd be surprised what goes on in hollywood. This interview I recall reading about 5 or 6 years ago. As far as the undercover cop Tevin solicited The reports I read never said whether the cop was male or female.

I find it strange Tevin is considered gay, Eddie and Johnny are considered Bi yet for years Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas are seen on national television walking onto a court to play some basketball KISSING EACH OTHER on numerous occassions before a game. Magic turns up HIV, yet the thought of his sexuality is NEVER QUESTIONED.

Tevin as an adult doesn't seem to act as feminine as he use to. Maybe he was just going through that stage and out grew that.

I think the cop Tev solicited was male and he gave that interview to sister 2 sister.

Tev's voice is a bit too churchy for me. Nothing special

Originally,Tevin wanted Prince to produce the entire album but Warners said "No way" lol The hottest producer at the time was Babyface and they wanted him involved with the album.

It's a damn shame that "Shhh" wasn't released as a single. It's one of the strongest songs, imo.
