I think Maxwell has a better voice, but not as much of a musical persona or personality. Some parts of "Pretty Wings" reminds me of Prince, too. "Be glad for what you had baby, what you've got..." | |

Yes, I also think that maxwell natural register is more pleasant but he does sound like Prince on the last album. Don't you think that his voice has changed ? | |

I don't think he sounds like Prince. I've never mistaken a new Maxwell song for Prince. Max is a better vocalist, too. | |

I never thought Max sounded like P until I listened to Bad Habit. So far, that's the only song that I hear the similarities. He only sounds like P in 2 parts of the song. | |

In certain songs he does have a "Prince-like" sound, but not all the time. Maxwell has his own sound. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |
