I don't remember much about the Brand New Heavies other than their music was sort of similar to Jamiroquai's during the 1990s which I didn't care for.
I chose Jamiroquai because I love their music from the 2000s when they changed their style with more uptempo disco elements and less jazz elements. . . . [Edited 8/20/09 1:48am] Andy is a four letter word. | |

I loved Brand New Heavies when they had N'dea Davenport as lead singer (Don't Let It Go To Your Head was the first song I really noticed), and I loved their album (name escapes me) which had the Midnight At The Oasis cover. More recently when they added Siedah Garrett as lead I thought they had gone a bit meh and middle of the road. Is N'dea now back with them?
But I have very Jamiroquai album on CD apart from the very first one, and know more of their stuff, and Deeper Underground is one of my favourite songs ever -So I guess it's Jamiroquai for me  Just somewhere in the middle,
