Happy Birthday, Michael. I love you and miss you forever.

Througout all the media coverage surrounding the untimely death of Michael Jackson, it is still hard to come to terms with this avoidable loss of a musical icon. This is a man who's success was only matched by personal turmoil, yet he continued to give, even as people slandered his name.

This is still a very hard loss for myself and I ams sure the rest of the world. I am still sad. I am in tears as I type this post. I miss Michael Jackson. My heart is still heavy that he is gone, but I know his soul has finally found the peace in death that was impossible in life.

I will always love you, Michaek Jackson. Happy Birthday in heaven, and thank you for the joy that you have brought the world.

When I first saw you and heard you, I smiled the biggest smile a 2 year old could smile

When you left, This 21 year old cried his eyes out like 2 year old

I don't care if people (including those on this site) call me weird or delusional, or something as lame and stupid as "floon" because I'm your fan

if they took the time to have tried to understand you instead of judging you, maybe people would have seen the same things I've been able to see in you these past 19 years


I'm proud to be a Michael Jackson fan and I know that Brother Michael is up in heaven right now with my other heroes, Sammy and James, having a good time and saying Thank You for the both of us

Thanks for providing the soundtrack to my youth. My family and I have grown up with your music since the late 1960's and it is hard to imagine that you are no longer physically here with us.

Whether it was my parents watching you on the Ed Sullivan Show back in the day or my brothers and I dancing to the Thriller and Bad albums, your presence was almost always around. In my mind, I always envision the other worldly dance moves, the "mini movies" you brought to MTV, and the hysteria of the millions who adored you and your music.

Despite life throwing you some curveballs over the years, I think about the man and the music. I think of someone that despite his flaws (which we all have) and naivete, had a good heart and genuinely gave his all for over 40 years. A man who through it all, still was a 10 year old kid inside.



Thanks for leaving behind a legacy which we can all enjoy for generations to come. Your spirit and legend continue....

There has not been a day that has past that I don't either listen to your music,think of you or do both. I miss you so much,but I am grateful that I was here to witness the magic. I read a quote somewhere,and I can't remember who it was by,but I thought it was fitting...

"Don't cry because it's over,smile because it happened"

and that is what I will try to do because as much as I still want you here,I will be forever grateful,that I had you in my life as long as I did,rather than not at all.
