Kelly Rowland "when loves takes over". This years summer song?

Yes Iam late, but hearing this song more and more over the last couple of months has finally made me realize this song ain't half bad (coming from someone who hates most new music).

It has a feel of late 90's commerical dance music, but Kelly does sound good on it. I bet US urban radio wouldn't touch this song which is a real shame.

Urban radio wont touch any RB female that isnt in that "vein" of Beyonce or Keyshia Cole/Mary J. Its gotten so painting by numbers here in the usa with RB females that get any play, its all the same. With the New MYA out Sept 29th (not the 2 Japan Only releases) it will be interesting to see what Video and Radio too, because she got booked on Dancing With the Stars (which she should win hands down) and the ratings on that show will ger her alot of spotlight. The New Amerie which was due 2 months ago and then pushed to September will now get a UK release First and NO DATE for the USA, i mean give me a break already.

Isn't Amerie way more popular in the US than over here?

Nope, her last album was released everywhere but America, she has built a more loyal follwing in the uk and japan and other places like that while the US is focused to much on the same old same old songs

I think this song could be big in the US pop wise. Its catchy and breezy enough. Iam glad UK commercial radio isn't half as segregated as US radio is. It has its massive faults of course, but at least some decent stuff gets through now and again.

This song has been out for a while now. I thought it would make more noise than it has...

This song was amazing when it first came out. She shot the video down at Venice Beach. Can't wait for her new album

Mya's "Liberation" and "Sugar and Spice" and last album after Moodring were released in the Uk as is Ameries. I think Brandy also should step out of the box...get a new manager and go overseas.
Plus overseas they dont need as many records to sell as compared to America's standards to become hits.

Album plays and love for vinyl records.
