There are clubs / concert promoters promoting shows with THE JETS.
Be advised the that group has broken up and the shows do NOT feature all the jets. Only 2 of the original members are in this band. The rest are family related, but not original members of The Jets. The main female voice (Elizabeth) is NOT part of the group anymore.

Awwww dayum. I youtubed and the music was so cute. When they first appeared on Soul Train, Don Cornelius was surprised to know the lead singer was only 12. He says "that's a big 12" not knowing that as Tonganese, they are naturally big folk.

Yeah - Leroy & Haini are the only two members of the original group in it today.
They dont sing, they play instruments. Its just not the same and the public should know.

The lead singer (Elizabeth?) should have tried a solo career.She has a great voice!

It's really unfair the way their career turned out.I recall in the fall of 1987,just before their second album 'Magic' was released,they announced all these major projects that were in the works:

*A movie for Disney,described as a "spy/comedy/musical" in which they would star in and record the soundtrack.

*A sequel to that movie.

*solo albums by various members


In 1990,they released a 'Best Of' CD with a few new singles,then disappeared
