Disney in the 90's. What a great era, it all went down with the live action films Hopefully it comes back with the first Black Princess.

I think the film is criminally underrated! Love it!

Loads more LOL. Mostly from the modern ones. Though classical purists may scoff, I quite like "once upon a dream" from Sleeping beauty.

One of my all time fav songs from a cartoon is unfortunately not by Disney, but could be mistaken for them:




The male lead's off key singing is refreshing and if anything, makes the song more real to me.

Obsurity, but one of my favs. Potheads would love this film. It does get strange by the end, with great bits of creative animation. Disney still have not released this song on a compilation

Under The Sea from the Little Mermaid gets stuck in my head a lot and I haven't even seen it in 20 years

My Dad took me and my brother and sister to see this when I was around 6 or 7 when it got reissued into cinema's the last time (they dont do this anymore since VHS/DVD), and I was bored as hell. Me and my brother wanted to see The duck Tales movie or Ritchie Rich or something like that LOL.

My Dad even apologized years later for taking us to see it. Only he wanted to go LOL.

The "nightmare on bald mountain" segment is probably by far the coolest thing Disney has ever done. I love it. Amazing animation aswell. Shame "Fantasia" never continued updating like Walt intended it to, but it lost money at the time of release, though is now as a milestone of animation.



Kids and teens would lap this shit up if they wern't so narrow minded. Shame I cant find the last part of that segment on youtube. Its quite stunning.

Iam so glad you like it exenn. Its so osbsure and its hard to get anyone to watch what is essentially a Donald Duck movie LOL.

A mere "package" film in its catalog (at least thats how the company sees it), the film somehow just works despite the complete lack of narrative. I love it the more I see it LOL. Its just alot of fun. Most people probably see the DVD on the shelf and just assume its your average sorta crappy made for tv Donald Duck movie or something? (Fair assumption).

The ending of "the three cabellero's" is one of my fav endings to a film ever. The animation of that part of the film is vibrant and creative as hell . What starts off as a standard 40's love song, then abruptly transforms into some drug fuelled moments of giddying madness, is a great Disney moment too few people know of:-



Harlepolis you might dig this movie. Has some old school songs. The film has small cult following apparantly. I can see why. Its just alot of fun.

Yes, considering how notoriously litigious Disney are, they do not seem fussed by any youtube clips at all. (Well maybe not current cinema releases but alot of their older stuff is on there). Maybe they know its free publicity? Whatever the stance, its a welcome one at the moment.

"Robin hood" has some really piss poor bits of animation ( pretty much the whole dance scene is traced from "snow white"), but despite there being no real "art" to the animation, its one of Disneys most light hearted and fun. Aswell as funny. The camp as hell villian being one of my favs. I presume he is based on Kenneth Williams from the British Carry on series. Were they big in the US? A few of the songs are OK too.

"robin hood and little john walking through the forest....". The laid back feel to the film works in its favour most of the time.

Yeah, it's not the one to blow everybody away, but it's a nice film. I saw it as a young child and thought it looked good at the time. Marian's song was nice. Monica Evans has the most soothing voice.

How did I manage to forget 'Mary Poppins'? I love every thing about that movie. Julie Andrews
