Marvin Gaye The Master - a good buy?

Any Marvin freaks out there?

I note that a 4 CD set, Marvin Gaye The Master is going cheapo in my local place. Any opinions on the value of this?

Would you say this is a fair retrospective. Rather than getting the original LPs, would this be a good intro to Marvin for a newbie?

It's excellent. Buy it now!

It's a great overview of his career, but don't stop there. His 4 major '70s albums (What's Going On, Let's Get It On, I Want You, and Here, My Dear) are all absolutely essential and they should be your next purchases.

it would appear I will be dropping significant cash in the near future smile for some strange reason i never really got into him b4. Of course i have what's going on and some of the old duet singles, but he just kinda passed me by. remarkable.
