I tried to get excited about their reunion but after I heard a few songs,I wasn't impressed. Well taken from their ages (Sarah's 67, Patti's 65 and Nona's 64) and the fact that all three have settled into comfortable arenas, it was decent.

Oh, I so agree. Patti Labelle is amoung the dozen or so artist for whom I've seen in concert on a regular bases anywhere in the world. For the most part Ms. Labelle leaves the theatrics for TV and prime time TV specials. She's a joy to see in concert and that voice. Having met her, Ms. Labelle is very gracious and very appreciative of her fans. Diva? Lord, yes! Bitch? Nah. [Edited 8/23/09 18:09pm]

It is not necessary and in fact a turn off. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Not much but Labelle has always done projects together, some of them participate on each other's solo recordings. Sarah Dash has had a rough case of it the last several years tho because she just recovered from throat problems in time to reunite with Patti and Nona. Who knows what Nona's up to, she's always doing something. As for Patti, I hear she's working on a new solo album scheduled for 2010 so who knows?
