Gimme You Love - Aretha Franklin and James Brown duet

Aretha Franklin. Queen of Soul paired up with James Brown, The Godfather of Soul for this Narada Michael Walden produced ditty. It was on Aretha's THROUGH THE STORM album.
The music video was a work of art due to the fact that Brown was in prison at the time, so the video director had to splice a lot shit together to make this work.


Prince did a great re-mix on this, sure wish I had it, or someone would post the audio on you tube - sighs

It's on JB's Soul Session Live too...I think it would have been cool if they had done some kind of battle - something similar to what the Tempts and Supremes done on Ed Sullivan
