Man that was a fun time. It seemed like a whole new wave was taking over and music with some substance was going to finally be accepted.
I was really rooting for Fishbone once they had major MTV play with "Swim". Even underground acts like Lucy Brown, Bad Brains and Total Eclipse got some notice too. I'm glad to see most of these bands are still around today. Even without label or promo push. | |
