TRIUMPH!!!
DAMN what a good album, very under-rated album of that period. I never see the video 4 "Can U Feel It" for the 20 years of my life. When I picked up that album last year.BOY i was blown away. Everybody was (and still is) THE SHIT!!! Your Ways - Damn It got that nice scary Michael J. flava Give It Up - Me & my brther love the arrangement. Lovely One - "Hey, Say U Are!" I love that part! Damn there's so much more I can say on this one album Anyway...for the Jackson 5, I would'nt know because I used 2 have thier LP's when I was little, but never used 2 pay attention 2 the rest of the songs, now the only one I own is "Diana Ross Presents". "Can U Remember" that is my jam. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

The only trouble with Triumph is the production of some of the lesser known tracks. The live versions of Lovely One and Heartbreak Hotel are infinitely better than the album versions (particularly the Bad tour renditions).
Both Destiny and Triumph are aching to be digitally remastered. All Night Dancin' is just THA BOMB!

Destiny is the best, followed by Triumph, and that live album from around 1981 (still have this one on vinyl and STILL listen to it every once-in-while).
Jackson 5's greatest hits is a hell of a record too.

I have Destiny and Triumph (one of them has "Can You Feel It" which I love!!!) However, I was a big fan of their "Live" album. It's from this album that the old school/house music sample "can you feel it!" comes. (Think: Jungle Brother's I'll House You)
Oh, yeah! "Soulsation" their 4 CD compilation is good; but, it doesn't include any of their Epic stuff, just Motown. [This message was edited Wed Jan 8 9:08:49 PST 2003 by UptownDeb]

when they got too Epic they lost there Name Jackson 5&so on Epic they were the Jacksons.aside from a Import Jacksons Greatest Re-Mix hits the Jacksons still haven't gotten a Proper Greatest Hits from Sony.the Live Album from 81 is Pretty Good.I like most of it.Oh, yeah! That really surprises too mistermaxx that SONY haven't digitally re-mastered any of the Jackson's albums or put out a greatest hits compilation. Dang how many times have they re-issued Earth, Wind & Fire or Johnny Cash?
My all-time fav Jackson album is Triumph cause its so funky and timeless (in particular Your Ways, Lovely One and This Place Hotel). I just love the whole album and that awesome Can U Feel It? video can be found on The Making Of Michael Jackson's Thriller video. I also highly recommend The Jackson's Live cd cause not only does it contain all the jams for Truimph, but also a medley of their Motown songs, and cuts from MJ's Off The Wall album...also I wish that they had released on video/DVD The Truimph or Victory tour concerts so that ppl could see how awesome their live shows were. The put all those stupid white boy band crap to shame. Don't u all agree? [This message was edited Sat Jan 11 18:04:38 PST 2003 by fonkywonder]
