Is it common for most performers/celebs to have doctors and medical personnel travel with them? I know you know who I'm talking about, but I just wondered. Especially if it's performers that do have conditions that need treatments, or if they suffer from chronic pain but still want to perform and things like that.

You talking about Michael Jackson or Prince?

It's not unusual for an artist to take on tour whoever they need to keep as "normal" of a day as possible. That includes a masseuse, doctor, chef, whoever.

Both I guess, I remember reading some blurb in a magazine that Prince always demanded a doctor or something.

It's on page 8. No big deal. What's a bigger deal is how Prince used to bash soft drinks, yet he has a rider saying he wants Pepsi and Ginger Ale in his room.

yeah I've heard of people getting those while on tour, it was mentioned in some Janet book I have.
