It's a novelty that Eddie is singing, but this jam stands on its own.
I saw a whole crowd dance to it last month at a wedding reception.

I bet that wedding dance wasn't as good as the one to the Chris Brown (aka Ike Turner Jr) "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Great song, of course.
Eddie had 3 singles I really like, which is more than I can say for a lot of artists. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

With Jamie Foxx making records, this song doesn't seem so weird anymore.

This one is so quintessential late 80's early 90's, but I love it.

Jamie Foxx is one arrogant son of a bitch, and should NOT be making records. His ego has yet to deflate after Ray. He's one of those musically irresponsible people. I can't stand him anymore.

I'm so glad music doesn't sound like this anymore. He has a whole room of folks miming on instruments in the video when it all sounds like one synth. People talk all day long about Neptunes supposed "Casio" beats. This one actually sounds like Casio default patches.

Every time I hear this song, I start laughing. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

Granted, I haven't heard a lot of them, but I'm sure it's probably better than the rest. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I TOTALLY agree! But anyway... I love this song! One of the kids in my class played it, thinking it was funny, until I started jamming to it. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. It is a great song, and I too chuckle when I hear Eddie singing, , but he shouldn't be embarrased by this song, he and Rick layed down a classic with this one. Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

me too! All I can think about is how out of place & silly Eddie looked and how high Rick looked. but of course, this video and song was no where near as hilarious as "wuzupwitu", I became a laugh-a-holic when that came out. Laughed so hard I nearly sharted in my pants.. [Edited 8/14/09 16:14pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
