1.Aretha Franklin- The Goddess of soul ranks 1st with 73 astounding hits.
2.Dionne Warwick- The "Walk On By" singer comes in next with 56
3.Madonna- The Queen of Pop has 55 hits under her belt, i'm sure she'll take the 2nd spot before this year is finished.
4.Connie Francis- Pop, Rock, & Country singer Connie has 53 hits
5.Brenda Lee- The star who sang the most played Christmas song "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" rakes in 48 hits
6.Barbra Streisand- One of the most respected singers of all time, she comes in 6th with 41 hits on the charts. Stay tuned, she's releasing a new album this year, she may move up on the list.
7.Mariah Carey- Like Madonna, Mariah is going to constantly move up on this list. She comes in 7th with 40 hits...more than her age.
8.Diana Ross- Tied with Mariah for now with 40 Hits, Diana will soon be #8 when Mariah releases a new single.
9.Janet Jackson- The Princess of Pop, arguably the queen of pop, is sitting well with 39 hits. I expect her numbers to increase as well over the years.
10.Whitney Houston- No Other than the Voice who rakes in 38 hits. Two days ago, Whitney would not have made the list. But as her new single "I Look To You" debuted at #74 on the charts this week, she moved up and is still looking to take spots. Her new single "Million Dollar Bill" will be released to radio August 18th. She's looking to take Janet, Diana, and Mariah's spot.
11.Mary J. Blige- the hip hop queen plaaces last but only by 1. She has 37 hits to her name, recently replaced by Whitney. No need to fret Mary fans, she's bringing out a new album which will be released in holiday. Her single "Stronger ft Chris Brown" is a sure fire hit.
