Bluegrass

This might be a stretch, but does anyone here know anything about bluegrass? Any artists/albums to recommend? I'm learning to play fiddle and need to listen up. I started with a compilation from Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys. Thanks

Thanks all, I'll look into it. I think Alison Krauss is considered "newgrass". smile I think we did play her once in my jam group, but right now I have to concentrate on classic standards.

Ms.Parton did bout 3 bluegrass cds in the early to mid 2000's, I highly recommend them.

The Grass is Blue, Lil Sparrow, and Horns n Halos.
