I have to agree with T Boz and Kandi's mother. It takes more than money to raise children. They show the entire family on television, but I doubt this is the case when the cameras stop rolling. There is no way this man can be in 4 to 5 different households simutaneously to emotionally support these children. To have 6 children by 4 different mothers (never married one of them) says a lot about this mans character. He is sloppy, never heard of protection (STD's anyone?), and has problems commiting to anything. Why isn't the same judgement passed on men who father many children out of wedlock the same as women who have many children by many different men? Irresponsible people like this is one of the main reasons that the Black community as a whole will never get ahead. Statistics show that fatherless boys are more likely to become future inmates, and fatherless girls are more likely to become a babymommas themselves at much younger ages. It's pathetic and very ghetto.
The only thing Kandi can look forward to is becomming babymomma number 5.

I would never say that people with children are damaged goods. I have a problem with men who continue to drop their seeds in different women only to move on to the next. Morals and responsibility doesn't just apply to the less wealthy. it show a lack of character, responsibility, self control as well as his fear to commit to anything or anyone. Why isn't the same judgement placed on men who impregnated different women as it is on women who choose to have many kids with different baby daddies. It is very irresponsible.
If I touched a nerve of anyone (male or female) who allowed themselves to be in this position, tough. Sex is a beautiful thing, just be responsible. NOTE TO LADIES: If a man has more than 3 babymomma's, havent made a commitment to any of them, don't think that your snatch is so much better than the last chick that he will treat you and your potential offspring any differently. If a person shows you their character, believe it.

Well...she pretty much said she wanted to get married for her daughter. Perhaps to show her that it's better to be married with a child than be a single mom with no daddy in the picture. She seems to stigmatize being a single mother. Hell if you got money and your kids' dad spends time with the child then fuck being married. Marriage without genuine love on both sides just sucks and will result in divorce.

Watching Khandi crying with her own mom, who was opposed from jump about AJ, was sad. But uh...in their line of work...aint no such thing as a single/eligible black man with no baby momma drama who is also straight and has his own change.

Somebody posted or suggested something about viewing women with several baby daddies differently than men with several baby mommas. They are both equally stupid but I have to give some bit of credit to the mommas because they want and are taking care of those children (most of the time). The dudes just delivering sperm like morning papers - and gone in the morning. I think a guy is much worse because he neither cares about his potential offspring, his health, her health, and the next woman.

Yeah, but if the kids are over 18 they are adults-therefore their mother isn't really a babymomma cause the kids no longer need child support, right? I always understood a babymomma to be the mother of kids under the age of 18

Not necessarily. Some custody issues and some states provide that the child receive support up until aged 21. Also, some baby daddies still hit up their baby mommas for sex. My aunt was dating some dude who had a 19 year old and she said his baby momma told her they were still having sex so she broke up with him. You just never know what some people got going on.

How the hell can he afford a wife and stepchild if has 6 kids of his own? Plus his youngest child is 6 so his last relationship (baby momma) could not have been that long before him meeting Khandi. It's just sad that there are not enough brothas for her to pick from down there in ATL.
