Honestly from a labels perspective, this is business, defjam/universal is NOT going to throw millions down the hole again for an album that wont sell a million. This isnt the 80's anymore where music mattered more to people and their lives. There are no more stores, music is not the background to peoples lives anymore, you have to have something else to sell now, its business if you are with a major label. Now if MC had a deal with walmart or someone else then i think you would see her out in full force, but for now, the single didnt get the response they wanted, advance previews didnt get a good response, its more of a "same ole same ole" response, and SORRY that people dont like to think this way, but MC is at the age that she needs to start impressing with quality and turn heads that way, not just turn heads with her looks.

Who knew Mariah was working with all of that!

thing is, she was just on America's Got Talent about a week ago, and BET the week before,, so she started to actually promote the album (going by Sep 15)

but this week they tested 6 tracks at several countries and the feedbacks were consistently lukewarm, so it seems like this is the main reason behind the delay.
now with this big ass gap and the single peaking, they better have a good plan as to what to do next
