Who knows? Maybe she's just dick whipped by a young husband, and can't think straight. Maybe it might be her tme to finally pop out a mini-Mariah and sit her ass down somewherres.

But if it is a marketing and money issue, I would say this is the opportune time to scale things down, do quieter releases and smaller venues and create a boutique, niche style buzz appropriate for her age. It's a shitty economy, the music biz has changed entirely, and you have to adapt to what's going on in the market. There's a lot less room for people to get their million plus on unit wise, with only a few young boneheads able to make the cut. At her age, you have to adapt and keep getting your grind on to be relevant these days. It's kinda like the way Diana Ross won't let go of her theatre clown eye make-up for every day use though it was cute once upon a time; you gotta understand what worked for ya 20,30,40 years ago is just not clickin' anymore...

she's just still in the studio is all. they've been testing some of the material she's got so far, and apparently they're still not so happy with what they've got.

i just hope that doesn't mean the material is not commercial enough for them, coz we've seen what that did to MC2.
