your wedding commemorative CDs My partner and I were married in July in Massachusetts, and we're having a big party/reception in early September. Music is a huge part of our lives, so we're excited about doing the music for the party as well as a commemorative CD containing some of our favorites songs, and songs that have special meaning for us.
For those out there who did commemorative CDs, or chose songs for their wedding, first dance, etc... what songs did you pick? Here's our commemorative CD track-listing: 1. Love Song for a Vampire – Annie Lennox 2. Proud – Heather Small 3. Bouncing Off Clouds – Tori Amos 4. That I Would Be Good – Alanis Morissette 5. I Wish U Heaven – Prince 6. Future Love Paradise – Seal 7. Love Will Never Do (Without You) – Janet Jackson 8. Us – Regina Spektor 9. Home and Dry – Pet Shop boys 10. Airwaves – Thomas Dolby 11. Gimme Sympathy – Metric 12. Here Comes The Sun – The Beatles 13. The Luckiest – Ben Folds 14. Silver & Gold – Neil Young 15. Sing – Jars of Clay 16. Halo – Beyoncé 17. Drowning In Your Eyes – Ephraim Lewis 18. i've DJed two weddings, and both times i noticed that "nothing can stop us now" by saint etienne was a big hit. it's dancey, it's sweet, it's lush and romantic. | |
