Are YOU familiar with Noisettes?

The Noisettes on their new found fame

She reminds me the Amy Winehouse sound...
I am not sure what's wrong, but it's probably your fault!

I adore this band. I miss the noisier side of their music from the first album, but I'm all for them growing as musicians and gaining a larger audience. IMMENSELY talented bunch!

They're actually back in the States right now, but I don't live near enough to any of the venues they're playing. sad

thumbs up!

They performed on "The Wendy Williams Show" yesterday. Nice group. I like the Minnie Mouse/Betty Boop sounds the lead singer makes while singing, lol.

Yep. Been listening to them for a couple years, actually just booted out some of their older stuff from i-tunes a few weeks ago to make room for newer stuff.

Only found out about them from Don't Upset The Rhythm, which sounded like pretty standard chart dance fare to me, but Never Forget You is in a totally different league - Really good song, with a great feel to it. Saw an acoustic performance on, I think, the BBC's Glastonbury coverage, and she just nailed that song! Great voice, sweet but powerful.

cool

She could easily do voice impersonations.
Their music is catchy! biggrin

"Never forget you" is good. Got a 60's retro vibe going on with the John Barry strings etc... Nice song.

They were part of my org music club mixtape last year: http://prince.org/msg/8/283191

First album is more punk while the second is more pop, but both are great.
