There is a classic shot of Michael and the brothers during the Motown 25 rehearsals, and on MJ's right hand you can see a blotch of white on his knuckles which is quite obvious. Swa "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

just to jump in a little bit with the vitiligo stuff...
skin conditions (along with all other diseases) can affect individuals very differently. I have psoriasis. However, you wouldn't know it unless I told you since it almost only affects my scalp. Google some images of psoriasis though, and if you thought that everyone had to be affected by it the same way, you might think I'm a liar. The same is true with vitiligo, how it affects one person isn't necessarily how it will affect someone else. I underwent a sort of uvb ray treatment for my skin condition some years ago, and it is also a treatment for vitiligo. So while I waited to have my treatment done, i saw many individuals with vitiligo in the waiting room, and for some people it covered their face completely, others it was patchy. One woman i didn't realize she had vitiligo until i saw that her hand and the back of her neck was patchy, and that her natural skin tone was actually dark, not light.

Did they apply Michaels makeup to his face with his glasses on? By his eyes, you can see he's darker
Also, I always thought that jacket was black. It's blue (which makes it ugly now) [Edited 8/23/09 19:21pm]

I am sure that there are ingoranI know that t bastards out there that still think that way, actually I know there are,but that does not mean that every white person feels the same way, lord knows I don't.Those are the kinds of people that make me ashamed to be white. I know that, I'm saying the system, the power structure itself always demonizes black icons, always. Not saying your average white joe cares one way or the other. [Edited 8/23/09 2:12am] I love this interview, but I kept wanting to lick my lips as well. I think he kept doing it because he was nervous. Did you notice that look Michael gave the reporter when he says "this is a little sensitive" you could almost read his mind,I think he thought he was going to be asked about the surgeries, but the guy instead asked him about the bones of the elephant man. However I think the jacket is ugly in that blue. It looked a lot better when I was under the impression that it was black ..

Until MJ went public about his condition, I didn't know what it was called. I've become enlightened (no pun intended) about the condition only because it affected MJ. That's why I did'nt think it affected white people,I had only seen, and heard of it affecting black people. I know better now.
