I had keloids on the nape of my neck & discoloration on my face when I was a teen. The teasing from family and friends was difficult at times to manage. Several visits to doctors finally gave me peace, but people can be cruel.

He was beautiful already,he did'nt need all those surgeries. I wonder if anyone ever told him that? Of course, he didn´t need the surgery, but what can you do? He had his insecurities and maybe he wouldn´t look good with that wide nose white either. I think someone (can´t remember who it was) said that they discussed the surgeries with Mike and that he admitted that they didn´t turn out the way he wanted to, but I don´t care, really, or I do, but not to the point where it would effect my love for him. I can see his beauty in all eras. He had his bad days, of course. He´s just Mike and I love him. I'm not saying that I don't love him, that is one thing that would never happen. 1986 Experts say Jackson has his hairline, eyebrows, and eyelash lines tattooed, along with more nose thinning. The tattooing is apparently a necessity. Klein, his new dermatologist, diagnoses lupus, which causes rashes and hair loss, and vitiligo, causing blotchy loss of pigment. Vitiligo patients can lighten dark patches with a strong hydroquinone bleaching cream—Jackson's choice, though he denies using it. (Source: Allure.com) 1987 Many assume he is having continual nose surgery, but insiders believe he is instead having frequent injections of Kenalog, a steroid used to reduce scar tissue after surgery. Reduction of skin thickness is a side effect. The shots are painful, so it is common practice to sedate the patient with propofol (a.k.a. Diprivan), a fast-acting anesthetic. Jackson is said to have developed an affection for this drug as a sleep aid. [Edited 8/21/09 12:04pm]

I am sorry, but there´s a footage of Mike making the Ghosts where they wipe his make-up off and he does not any eyelash lines. Look at the right eye at 5:19. And if vitiligo spread all over his body, was he supposed to paint himself completely black again or what? If he used that bleaching cream, it was because of vitiligo. It was not his "choice". He was trying to stay black for many years and the recent picture of MIke from victory tour proves that. Based just on this picture, he was trying to be black from 1984 to 1989 during the Bad Tour which is quite a while for someone who wanted to be white so desperately. I think that´s long enough. I hate when people say he "wanted" to be white, it was HIS choice. Another cool picture. they actually did look better Tattooed? Than how come he had different shapes at different times? "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. [Edited 8/21/09 12:06pm] Yeah, that's a sci-fi fantasy of mine. The clone would also have his sweet/rare personality too. As others posted on the previous page, his inner beauty was wonderful as well (and extremely cute and loving). "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. I think the mag was trying to emphasize that he was too embarrassed to admit that he used a bleaching cream to even out his skin tone because of vitiligo. Which I can understand, given America's obsession with light and dark skin, straight and kinky hair.

Jackson Family Moves Burial Service to Sept. 3 Los Angeles Times August 21 Michael Jackson's family has moved the date of his burial at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park in Glendale to Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. No reason has given for the change. Originally, the event was to take place Aug. 29 at what would have been his 51th birthday. The family will be footing the bill for the burial, including the city costs for police and other public services, Glendale officials said. The ceremony is supposed to be for family and friends in the expansive cemetery's Great Mausoleum, according to a statement from the family publicist. The pop singer's remains will be placed in a crypt in the Holly Terrace section of the mausoleum, a massive building that is the final resting place for stars from film's golden age, such as Jean Harlow, Carole Lombard and Clark Gable. The original funeral announcement Tuesday capped two months of rumors that began even before Jackson's gold-plated casket was rolled into Staples Center on July 7 for a televised memorial. That day began with a service at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills but ended without a burial or interment. One report had his body stored in a crypt owned by Motown founder Berry Gordy Jr., and there was widespread speculation that an elaborate grave -- and, ultimately, a Graceland-style museum -- would be constructed at the entertainer's Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County. http://latimesblogs.latim...ept-3.html

[Edited 8/21/09 12:39pm] But I don´t understand what´s so incomprehensible about this. I mean would you paint your whole self back black every-single day? I really don´t get why people make such a fuss about it. Plus I am not sure if this "bleaching" procedure makes you completely white without any blotches. Cause if it does, he obviously didn´t do it because he always had blotches. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. Allure interviewed Dr Steven Hoefflin, MJ's plastic surgeon through the 1980s and '90s. Are you sure it´s real? Why do they say "experts" then and not MJ´s personal plastic surgeon? I don´t know how reliable of a source Allure is. As for the propofol story, I am still waiting for the autopsy results before I come to a conclusion, but I find it hard to believe that he would be taking something like that for so long at home (when it´s supposed to be used only in hospitals) and be killed by it only after couple of years.
