There was a time when I thought that Prince would be one of those artists who never did remakes lol I was surprised when I bought 'Emancipation' and found four remakes on it.

I used to love that distinction about Prince, especially since not only did he not do remakes, all the songs were written by him. I believe 'betcha by golly wow' was his first released remake and it was Emancipation's lead single. Terrible lol

At times it does, but I usually think studio albums are albums that don't focus on a movie, a holiday subject, etc.
