Why would anyone be offended if that's what HE likes?

lol lol ... Why would ppl give a fuck about his music anyway?? I must admit he's a good rapper, sometimes he uses good metaphors, but its boring afterwhile rhyming about fuckin so many bitches, having so many cars, so many ppl hating on U... chatterbox ... Just plain boring, but I dont think dark skinned girls should feel offended... Not only he's talkin about his personal taste, but Gawd, dark skinned beauties should feel happy not to be praised by that Grintch lookin bro :-d

Yeah light skin, the other dude[Not Drake]said the same thing. "I like em carmel skin"
I'm not offened because I don't like him, his prefrence. And there is no need to be in the "Light Skin vs. Dark Skin" war. If your comfortabe with yourself, who cares. I remember NeYo and Yung Burg said they do not like dark skin girls either, Yung Burg called them "dark butts" It probably would have hurt me a couple years ago when I was OBESSING to be light skin.

I feel U guurl.. Im a 23 year old light skinned dood (white father and black mother), and in my young age, I couldnt understand the fascination most black people had towards light skinned ones.. Its so embarassing!! buta s U said, as long as U R happy with wut u are, its ok, Lil Wayne and Friends can go to hell... We're living in a sad world today.. Light skin dictatorship, thin body dictatorship, money dictatorship... It just shows U dat 99% of us are sheeps following wutever is shown as "good" or "beautiful" to them...

Maybe because "light skin looks better" to some people, but it is what it is. Your made that way for a reason. Yes it is a crazy world. More and more young people are becoming obessed with looking good, I don't think I am a part of that even though I blow all my money on MAC makeup. I like all shades, light, dark, carmel, honey does it matter?!

Its truly a matter of taste, sure... I have preferences too, just like evrybody, but its dangerous when ur "personal taste" is shaped by years or centuries of brainwashing.. I love dark skinned, light skinned, brown skinned, yellow skinned girls.. But I have to admit that whenever I date a dark skinned girl (my last GF was a beautiful dark-blue skinned girl, as she loved to call herself), people give me that "WTF" look.. like "Dood, U lite skinned, wut U doin with... HER?"... It pisses me off.. And wut make things "worst" is dat I like thick girls... Not that model kind of girl... People are crazy, I swear!

Right, I mean there is nothing wrong with having a prefrence of your own but like you said its because of the brainwashing. Damn? That's kinda bogus but it is true like seeing a white guy and black girl. Love is love, doesn't hve a color interracial is a good thing some people make it a big thing. People call me fat ALLLLL the time[I guess my nickname doesn't help]But I know i'm not. Nothing wrong with some type of oomph.

Something tells me that this is EXACTLY what he's saying and what his silly impressionable and young fans are going to get from his message. But, hell, he ain't the only rapper, actor, athlete or high profile individual sending the same message so it is what it is. As long as I gets mine fuck them fools. shrug

on a subliminal level he definately is saying that, but lets face it - i kno people tht listen to wayne. hell I listen to way. half of wat he says flys over ur head the first few times n e way cuz ur either rockin to the beat OR his ass is incoherent.

anyone young enuff to possibly be affected by him saying tht probably isnt listening to the lyrics to start with (yea kids recite lyrics every day, but ask one of them what it means and they look @ you like "huh")

and anyone tht is actually paying attention to what he has to say to start with has more than likely already been indoctrinated into this light is right bullshit to start with anyway,

so it is what it is as u said. and so long as i get mine and dont let those around me be on some ignorant bullshit then its all good and gravy.

It seems the only women who'd be offended by Lil Wayne would be those who care about his opinion.

I hope that's a small number of women.
