Imago

Too many to count lol

I love music, and sometimes am a sucker for 'cheesy' or syrupy songs others find irritating--sometimes my 'intellect cap' is completely switched off and I just indulge in the sweetness of it all. lol

For example, some would be surprised to know I'm quite fond of MJ's "Human Nature", Madonna's "La Isla Bonita", and Simon & Garfunkle's "The Boxer". I even love Prince's "Curious Child." from Emancipation lol

Among songs that I like and consider some of the most beautiful that I've ever heard:

Imogen Heap / Hide & Seek : http://www.youtube.com/wa...TUARAl141E

Royksopp / What Else is There: http://www.youtube.com/wa...LpkXtM-VI8

Puccini / O Mio Babbino Caro : http://www.youtube.com/wa...RaMOka3xzo

Bruce Springsteen / Paradise : http://www.youtube.com/wa...dW9Wyr5JbU

James: Five-O : http://www.youtube.com/wa...OBriyEH-dc

Even Moby's First Cool Hive boxed : http://www.youtube.com/wa...sVdtP2hge4

lol

Just brilliant...
Sorry for the "purists"... Though Kate bush sings it very well, I still think Maxwell added the "thing" that made it even greater...

I dont know what it is, but I def like his version better

Agree completely. nod

I usually hate beautiful music (I'm more into the ugly & crude side of things) but when I'm in a rare reflective mood, I think some of the sentimental Cole Porter songs make for the nicest listening: In The Still of the Night, Begin the Beguine, Night & Day, wuka wuka wuka...

Time After Time-Miles Davis-After I was done cryin when I listened 2 this, I went and bought his autobiography....

I think this is the answer 2 Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin On"....

Carlos Santana-Bella-Carlos is like Miles when it comes 2 those notes that cause tears...

I've Got So Much To Give-Barry White-When I was 10 years old I said I can't wait till I find someone 2 sing this song 2....

The horn/string section and the outro jam on this song is what gets me everytime....

"Got to be there" by a very young, incredibly talented Michael Jackson.
The song gives me chills. His vocal talent as a child was scary and in all the years past, I have NEVER heard another child with a voice as powerful or soulful. He truly was a once in a generation talent
