That's wgat frustrated him (well, that's what he said anyway.) But that's still no excuse for releasing this song and airing Mike's dirty laundry in public Michael was already getting alot of vicious criticism from the media and tabloids. It's a shame that his own family members would betray him, too. I'm sure that, eventually,Mike would have made time to hang out with him and discuss these issues IN PRIVATE.Jermaine was just trying to cah in on the media fascination with MJ. Read my comment above. I think LaFace (La and Face) were mostly behind this. They needed a little controversy to bring attention to their label. Face, LA, Left Eye and Jermaine are all listed as writers on this song. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

That's a shame Oddly enough,MJ worked with Babyface on 'Dangerous' which was released around the same time. I don't see why Face and LA felt that they needed this type of "controversy" for their label. At that time, they were the hottest recording duo in the business and their label was doing fine in those days. This little stunt reminds me of something I once heard about Janet.Back in the late 80s,after 'Control',A&M record exec John McCain (who now controls MJ's estate) suggested that Janet's next album be called "Scandal",dealing with the various scandals surrounding her family. He felt that it would be a huge seller.Needless to say,Janet was pissed and refused to do a project like that, lol. It just goes to show how some people close to the Jacksons were convincing them to exploit themselves and their family scandals to sell records. At least Janet was smart enough to say no! Jermaine proved that he was not above embarassing/dissing his own brother, just to get a little attention. ... [Edited 8/11/09 6:20am]

Well... she did record "You Need Me" and release it as a b-side. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Well... she did record "You Need Me" and release it as a b-side. Those "Dangerous" tracks, were not released except for "On the line",(which I am not sure was written for that album, in the first place). "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Nope, it isn't. He sang it during his "unplugged" special, though. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Jermaine said that he only recorded it because that's how he was feeling at the time .. Then he went back in the studio and changed the second verse .. I always thought that this was done in poor taste. If you have a problem with a sibling, keep it between the both of you. This is why I question Jermaine's and Latoya's "love", for Michael now. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

It was the b-side to "Miss You Much." It's a pretty scathing song about Joe. As a child I missed on the love I never had And daddy he was distant Never there to hold my hand Never bought the things he'd always promise to give me Mother made up for him always watching over me Days would go by and we would never see his face In my mind I'd wonder "Does he have another place?" If and when he'd come in he would always be upset All the kids were scared his next syndrome would be a fret Now that you are older and you begin to see Family's important to be there if you need Father never taught us these things mom said to me Now the table's turned so tell me you need me Tell me Tell me Tell me Just admit You need me Daddy daddy dearest, what is it you want from me (Tell me) I won't turn my back on you the way you did with me Now you try to give and always reaching out to grab I'll give you what I can but I can't give what I don't have Mother lends a shoulder, to cry on if you need But are you there for mother when she needs your company? Father never taught us, these things mom said to me Now the table's turned so tell me You need me Tell me Tell me Tell me Tell me Say You need me If you realize we need each other, we will be a closer family. I need you, yeah (you need me) I need you, and you know that Now that you are older and you begin to see Family's important to be there if you need Father never taught us, no no never taught us Just admit You need me Tell me that you need me Tell me that you love me Tell me that you need me Just admit Say You need me Are you there for mother? Are you there for mother? Are you there for mother? [Edited 8/11/09 7:10am] "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
