BOBBY WOMACK APPRECIATION THREAD Ok so me mum's been flooding my ears with old school this past week. I have to say, Bobby Womack is the shit. Nobody has nuthin on that dude. His raspy gospel voice that mixes R&B with Soul and even a little bit country flavor. I think his song topics are right on even for today. They transcend the typical love you miss you mush and get right into deep issues of want, need, frustration. This brotha was straight preachin'!!
Yes yes, I'm starting bunch of old school artist threads. Look Out!!!! this sounds like a country song to me. I love it!!!!

I like his song "Come L'Amore" from his Communication album but I can't seem to find it on YouTube. [Edited 8/5/09 18:48pm]
