Jermaine Jackson..JERMAINE(1980)

Has anyone bought the 1980 Jermaine Jackson album JERMAINE? This album has "You Like Me Dont You", "Peices Fit", "Beautiful Morning", etc and I beleive that it was the follow up to the LETS GET SERIOUS album

This has to be Jermaine's most consistent album ever. "All Because Of You" and "First You Laugh And Then You Cry" are amazing songs. I was stunned at Jermaine's lead and background vocal. There's VERY funky bass playing by Jermaine on "Pieces Fit" as well.
Jermaine produced this album and played MANY instruments on this release.

It's a shame that this release was ignored.

Anyone feeling the "Jermaine"(1980) from Jermaine Jackson?

Yea, i bought the album on vinyl about a year ago & i like it. "All because of you" & "You like me don't you" are my favorites. Switch does background vocals on some of the songs including "You've changed" & you can hear Bobby DeBarge vocals on the beginning of "All because of you"

My dad had this album. I don't remember playing it though, but discovered it in the interweb days.

Please Jermaine is trying to get his 15 minutes of fame and make a few dollars in the process at expense to his late brother! bored2

He couldn't get ahead because it's hard to stand in the shadows of the late Michael... confused

He has material on CD, just hard to find. His debut was released on CD about 8-9 years ago. Let's Get Serious has been released a few times on CD as has Let Me Tickle Your Fancy. All three of his Arista disc and his La Face album are on CD.

He has about 5 compilations on CD also.
