I was driving around town last week, blasting "She's Just A Groupie" lol That song always make me smile. It takes me back to the fall of '82...a much better time.A time when R&B was still R&B,you know.

I love Bobby Nunn! He wrote Rocket 2 U for the Jets and even sung it. Listen to it close. What ever happened to him anyway?

Both of those albums are classic. Motown needs to release those again.

Yeah, I'm definately hip to Bobby.
"Private Party" and "She's Just A Groupie" both are vamping from the keyboard riff from Funkadelic's "(Not Just) Knee Deep". Bobby used to wear that sound out."Sexy Sassy" is straight "Private Joy". "Sex Maniac" is the chorus to "Sexy Dancer". I always thought "She's Just A Groupie" vocally sounds like Rick. Even the lyrics and the vibe of the track always sounded to me, like Bobby was going for a Rick James type of vibe with that track. "Hangin Out At The Mall" is dead on Andre Cymone. It even sounds like Andre singing and shit. This could have easily been on "Livin' In The New Wave".
