I listened to it tonight for the first time in probably a year after seeing all those people on the Madonna sticky saying how much they LOVED LOVED LOVED it. I remember enjoying it a lot at the time, but it wearing thing pretty quickly and the number of really irritating songs being higher than any of her other albums.

It actually wasn't a bad listen. But definitely skip Candy Shop, 4 Minutes, Miles Away, Spanish Lesson and Devil Wouldn't Recognize You and it's pretty great! (unfortunately, that's a 3rd of the album )

I do like her new generic sounding single for that greatest hits package though, "Celebrate" or whatever. It's soulless as Hard Candy, but it reminds me of Cindy Lauper's "Night Life" single, which I mildly liked.


But I guess my original point (though I mistakenly believed Hard Candy was recent ) was even when Madonna's albums sucks, they're still on par with the garbage that's on radio nowadays anyways.
