i'm not going to be able to get mine on 9/9...

my wedding reception is 9/12 and i've been told in no uncertain terms that I am NOT to buy the Beatles box. Which I assume means it will end up on the gift table.

I wonder if I can move the reception up a few days

There's an article at NPR's All Songs Considered pages, which is fun.

The most interesting part of the article is that reviewers were given the chance to download lossless files of the albums, prior to the release. I'm amazed that none of these files have surfaced in "the usual places".

I'll buy them, if I'm happy with them. But as I've said before, I've been burned before with remasters (even after positive reviews!).

So some 'try before I buy' action is what is needed.
