i like just about every song on there..LOVE Lisa Keith background vocals on most tracks especially The lovers and Criticize.
The production was TOP notch. They should really really take that equipment back out and make it known again. The sound is destined for a comeback. Listen to When The party's Over..that smooth snare..the soft opera-synth keyboard. "There's No Need...To Go.." Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

I've always wanted 2 know what kind of keyboards/equipment Flyte Tyme used during that era,'cause as a kid I thought it was some kind of magic he he. People don't wanna believe it but while Janet was the star of the crew and had the family name, Lisa Keith was the VOICE. Guess that's why she didn't get the same time as Janet did.... My faves were "The Lovers" and "Criticize". It's a great CD. Don't know where it would rank on my list of 80s CDs. That list would be far too incredibly long! "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

[Edited 8/3/09 17:27pm] In the mid eighties there was always talk about Jimmy,Terry, and Lisa forming a group called The Secret. I don't know if production commitments got in the way but the group never happened. Hearsay was a great album. [Edited 8/3/09 20:42pm] Don't laugh at my funk

What a coinkidink! I just started jamming to the album on my iPod about 15 minutes ago!! My faves are:
Hearsay The Lovers When The Party's Over Sunshine Criticize Those are just my absolute favorites from the album, but I can bump this from start to finish without hitting nary a button, except to maybe listen to one of them again for a second time! Those interludes are hilarious too, by the way. Great freakin' album, and TOTALLY underrated!!! The same grooves that catapulted Janet to stardom, actually.
