Now I'm listening to the song . . .
Don Henley first . . .

India Arie. is being optimistic in her version.
Don Henley sings it as if it's a cross he carries . . . And that I can relate to.

Janet used to be #3! But her later releases were so disappointing that she's now slipped two notches to #5. neutral

I had a very hard time, as well. I'm still having a hard time and, I guess you could say the relationship ended a little over a year now but um, I don't know how to put it hmmm I guess it isn't EASY but I always looked a it with a very positive mindset. It gets ugly from time to time but most of the time I know it was the right thang for me hmmm

I'm not making much sense, am I? lol

omg I couldn't have lived with him after breaking up disbelief

I stopped talking to my ex-boyfriend about a month after we broke up. We didn't talk at all for seven months and then he started looking for me again. I agreed on trying to be friends and I guess we are and will always be - the chemistry between us is just too good lol but it's HARD to see him as just a friend. I still can't and don't know if I ever will confused

You will I think.
We were friends before we got into a relationship. I still love him. And I've dated and had a relationship after him.
