Michael Jackson 2B World's top singer? If you looke in WIkipedia The Beatles and Elvis Presely are the 2 very verry top artists of all time with sales of 1 billion. Michael is 3rd ahead of BIng Crosby with 750 million.
While that's extremely high it's not the top/ Well with all the noteriaty after his death and Tommy Matolla sayin ghte will release his new and unreleased albums could he become even higher? 1st it depends of how you count Michael Jackson. If you include his success with The Jackson 5 apart of his career it goes up 100 million to 850 million. I don't know if they consider The Jacksons and The Jackson 5 different entities. If so I think The Jacksons sold 50-100million. SO that could puch him up as high as 950 million. AO the question is can Michael sell 50-100 million after his death and tie somewhat ELvis and The Beatles for first place at 1 billion records sold? He'd have to do 250 million without The Jacksons and even though he's #1 on the charts that would be an accomplishment he hasn't done since Thriller. Working up a purple sweat. | |

True they link sources but the sources got the info from MJ's camp (well really Raymone Bain and Sony Music) and they since went along with it. It's not unlike RCA and Capitol claiming billion sales for Elvis and the Beatles. | |

It can be said that MJ easily pull in more multiple sales with three or more albums (not counting compilations) than Elvis and the Beatles. He easily did 300 million albums worldwide. | |
