Both 80s groups KLYMAXX and EXPOSE have been in court for a while fighting to get ownership of the group names. Bernadette told me recently that she now owns the name KLYMAXX and to be expecting a new album (also the last) from KLYMAXX before the year is over.

Gioia, Anne and Jeanette the original members of EXPOSE now own their name as well. They also have a new album in the works!

Expose performed a show in my area last week.It was a Freestyle oldies show,with several other artists on the bill (Stevie B,Lisa Lisa,Cover Girls,etc).I didn't go,but it sounds like it was alot of fun.

Freestyle Shows are always fun!

Bernadette was in the court like, " I just look too GUUUUD FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!"

Yeah I remember hearing about how the original EXPOSE members fought to retain ownership of their name, I had heard a bit about Bernadette owning the Klymaxx name.

Weren't there two different Expose groups? The first one had a hit single "Point Of No Return" in 1986.The second group (the one we all know so well) re-made "Point Of No Return" and released it in 1987.It became an even bigger hit than the first group's version.

Are they fighting that first group for control of the name?
