Totally unrelated to the thread topic,but do you know I'm still trying to figure out what he is putting in his head to make it glisten like that? That head had some superhero shine in that rainstorm like I have never seen  It's so thick and slick... that's not some regular Afro Sheen that boy is using. What is it? DAX? Royal Crown? It damn near looks like Crisco  ...I thought I explained how he did his hair every morning to ya'll!
He washes it, then perms it with Dark and Lovely, then tapers it, THEN dyes it, then he gets his blend of Blue Magic, Ampro or Pro-Line conditioner, and Murray's pomade with a tainch of 360 Waves gel, and packs it on then he uses one of Mrs. Jackson's silk scarves and wraps that shit up for AT LEAST 4 and half hours

Betcha they'd have his sound right if he played the Tom Joyner Family Reunion or the Budweiser Superfest

In Jill Nelson book - "Straigh, No Chaser" - she wrote about pervasive problem of colorism in the African American community/USA/around the world. Ms. Nelson observed, You could put an "average" looking fair skin sista next to a beautiful dark skin sista and if you asked us which one was attrative, many in our community would choose the fair skin women. 
Pathetic but true. So, some would argue whether the "pretty" dark skin women had any talent or not, she may be dismissed. "She doesn't have the look." 
At that, it can be a double-edge sword. Kristina's father and his siblings caught hell for years because they were fair/light brown skin and they had talent and then some. I feel it's unfair to heap a bunch of other people bullshit "issues" onto this girl or anyone else for that matter. She's been offered an oppurtunity and she's taken it, like anyone would. Kristina isn't the only offspring of a famous/well known singer/music family to be given a break. Some have been successful in their own right but many have not. As I said, it can be a double-edge sword. | |

OMG. Sorry - I take it it was to highlight global warming and climate change but, after reading what Ottensen and you had to say, that line just sounds so funny.
