This was a b-side to "Mama's Pearl," the very first record I ever owned. I think I played "Darling Dear" more. biggrin
The stripped version that just came out is great!

Damn, I don´t get to see half of the old J5 videos posted here due to some copyright restrictions.

I always liked the J5 arrangements better than a lot of the originals....Like The Love I Saw Was Just a Mirage.....and, Love is Here and Now Your Gone, etc...I dig both feels for Darling Dear...but I like the urgency of the J5 version...just my preference, though....

Yeah everybody's got a preference. lol Don't get me wrong, I dig the arrangements in the J5's versions but I always loved to hear the originals. smile
