I didn't understand back then but now I'm beginning to understand the situation and what MJ sometimes had to go through just to get ready for a tour! But dude's been touring and working since he was a kid, Mike thought he deserved a break. I was watching him talk about the Bad tour and touring in general when he says the constant changing of time-zones threw him off sleep and his adrenaline is up so much after a show he can't sleep. Plus Katherine said in an interview for Number ones that Michael was like this from Off the Wall days....sleeping wise...he'd get up in the middle of the night and yell 'WOO-HOO' saying he got inspiration for a song and would not sleep for the rest of the night....a constant beat in his head. I'm beginning to think MJ had been suffering from insomnia since the Jackson 5 days. He had to get up early in the morning just to rehearse and accounts said even then, MJ would rehearse to death. One of his early band mates from the J5 days said they had to tell MJ to "stop" because they thought he was killing himself while he was pushing himself to perfect a dance step he was working on. And MJ was EIGHT back then!

jamgirl said: Timmy84 said: Yep, that can only explain how he died so suddenly if he was unable to come to with the Diprivan even if he was ailing. It's strange. It's probably a mixture of sickness, health concerns, doctor's negligence and too much work too soon that led to what happened to MJ but that's only guesses. Or maybe his heart just stopped. It gave out. God said it was time. That's the first inclusion I had: his heart finally couldn't take anymore. That's why I said it'll be hard to prove that just Diprivan killed him.

True his death could've been prevented (I'm hearing so many different accounts as to what went on that day that I don't know WHAT to believe anymore) but you know, at least his kids got old enough to know that he loved them.

I started attending dance classes this year and I was shocked how physically demanding it is. It looks so easy, but than you try it and find out it´s like working out in a gym. Are there any other artist of his age who are doing so much dancing? I can´t think of one except for Madonna and we´ve all seen how she looks right now. I mean she´s always been working out etc. that´s why she´s stilů probably handling it all. Mike has always said he hated to work out and I dont´think he did when he was not touring. It´s true that other people tour at 50, but nobody dances like these two so maybe the rehearsals might have played their part in his death. Who knows. Hope we´ll find out soon. I can´t remember this quote right now. It came from the Associated Press around 2006. I think that's when he made his first public comments following the trial if I remember correctly. This was when he had visited Japan or that army base.

What I don't get is the media is making it seems like he's some huge non functioning properly junkie. What I don't get is:
1) How did he pass the phsycial? 2) How was he rehearsing (because he rehearsed often more than once a day) 3) How did people like the chef not see him strung out all the time? I'm not saying that he wasn't an addict. I'm just saying that it doesn't make sense.

Either he was anorexic or he was healthy. Either he was doing fine or looking sick from "rehearsing". Either the dude who gave him the drug killed him or tried to revive him with no luck for an hour and a half or two hours. Either he was in his room or he wasn't. Either the doctor lived with him or didn't. [Edited 7/31/09 12:01pm]
