Michael Jackson Holiday

I've been tedies a movie how could we memorize Mike. And I just was thinking, making his birthday into aworld wide holiday.

I know there'sa Bon Jovi Day in New Jersey and other stars have them. I think this country would as well as the world wouldn't honor him making his borthday an internationally recognized holiday.
Working up a purple sweat.

I would like there to be simultaneous concerts like Live 8 or Live Aid in Michael's honor in cities around the world. All proceeds going to charity. WE ARE THE WORLD should be re-released with all proceeds going to charity. I would love to see that.

Give it a f#@king rest people - the man was a great (up until 10 years ago) entertainer but he wasn't Ghandi, Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandella. I loved his music and admired his work all my life but he was just a man with flaws (maybe moreso) than most people.

No way, not necessary at all.

Do we have a Bon Scott Day? A Kurt Cobain Day? Phil Lynott Day? Jon Bonham Day?

We can't start having holidays for every musician that dies.

If Michael Jackson means a lot to you, you should celebrate his life in your own personal way. We don't need a national holiday in the UK for this.

Hell, we don't even get the day off for St George's Day.. confused
This is not an exit

I say no to that idea (nice as it is)

And say yes to more inventive global ways such as eternalmoonwalk.com

Michae wasn't just any artist. He was a humanitarian whom lived in our hearts. He was an innovater. Only The Beatles and Elvis Presley have sold more albums than him. He had the world's highest selling album. He is a symbol of the 80s.

If not make it an Indiana Holiday. I think perhaps renaming Los Angeless 405 The MJJ Freeway might do. Or rename Gary Michael Jackson Indiana.
