anybody like The Ting Tings? I just got into them. It's a shame this album got forgotten last year. They remind me of The B-52s.

Forgotten? The Ting Tings are pretty big here in the UK, still on the summer festival circuit etc (I'm guessing you are in the US?). They do need to get off to Berlin and start recording their new album but We Started Nothing is one of my faves of the last 12 months. I've got the edition with 4 or 5 acoustic versions on the end and I can listen to Be The One (acoustic) over and over - actually the single/album version of Be The One is probably my favourite Ting Tings track anyway. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I love this under rated group... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

it looks like next week TNMN is gonna crack the top 40 here in America, I hope this will cause some major exposure. I went nuts for them the first time I heard great DJ. I am pumped for their follow up. 2012: The Queen Returns

SWEET MERCY! I loved them last year "That's Not My Name" was my song
I missed seeing them here live a couple months ago, cause I was in NYC, but my friend's band opened the show for them and said they were a bit "blah" live If you will, so will I

They're really fun. Kind of forgettable in a way, and I burned out on the album pretty quickly, but I'm definitely a fan and want to see what they do next.
My new obsession, in a similar vein: Fol Chen, who do a great version of the Beautiful Ones on Purplish Rain.

It's fun for what it is but one dimensional. It should be a hit with the ghey.

I liked them for about 20 minutes and then they got annoying. Cute, but in small doses.

Love the singles, got a lil' bored wth the album. But it's better than a lot of crap out there.
The drummer is sexy. | |

I enjoy a couple of their songs- but they are pretty one dimensional. They remind me of the 80's.

Me too, but then again I don't even have their album. I just liked maybe two songs and then got tired of them real quick. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

- I've only heard "That's Not My Name" from them and when I first heard it I was like "Well then b*tch, what is your name?" But its an okay song
