I heard that was just a rumor.

This was a rumor that was out well over 2 years ago out here in So. Cali. Either the show Extra or ET ran a story on how the rumor started about there was someone who worked at a Ralphs Market and a tabloid photographer mistook him for Marlon or Jackie and of course it turned out to be neither. Again, this was over 2 years ago easy. The show totally dismissed it and stated that it was completely false. The photographer even stated that it was false. But since Michael's death and after Marlon's moving sentiments at his brother's memorial, that rumor grew legs again. As far as the clips, I remember seeing this on the Late Show. This was obviously before Arsenio had his OWN show. He used to fill in for Joan Rivers and the ratings were so good whenever Arsenio hosted, they gave him his own show. But yeah, Marlon was always a great dancer. I was happy for him that he had a track that was doing well. The audience adored Marlon.

Marlon was a better vocalist before his voice changed.

I thought I was the only on the planet who thought that. That's why I don't know why Motown didn't use him more during that time. When the Jackson 5 preformed live from 1969 to 1971 I was able to actually spot Marlon's voice in the harmonies at times.

biggrin Nice to know someone else head Marlon's voice too. I think Motown in the 70's missed the boat on captializing on the talent they had and I don't know why. confused

I remember hearing that he got involved with commercial real estate years ago in San Diego and made a tremendous amount of money. I know he was listed as one of the investors in the now gone Black Family Channel.

Yep. I particularly like lol singing along to Marlon's voice on "Feelin' Alright" and "Who's Loving You". Sue me.
