Good rock 4 u Just 'cause I'm in that kind of mood!
I don't know who this drummer is, but he has the coolest look ever: Yep, that's Sammy Hagar! "Montrose" was the first metal album ever to go gold. This is from "Paper Money", Montrose's second album. It was a promo, filmed live off the floor at The Sausalito Record Plant in 1974. This is live in Houston, 1981. Who knows, maybe a younger, skinnier RodeoSchro is somewhere in the audience! Best. Rush. song. EVER. I might have been at this concert, too. If this is Houston, I definitely was. It was a triple bill - Rush, Blue Oyster Cult and Starz
Here is Starz. These guys were AWESOME. They never made it big, but most bands from that era will tell you Starz was at the head of the rock 'n roll class. And to finish the concert, here's Blue Oyster Cult playing a song about Men in Black: | |
